Easy Chicken Liver Pâté Recipe

Ingredients to make Easy Chicken Liver Pâté:

  • 500 grams of chicken liver
  • 250 grams of onion
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 12 units of whole black pepper
  • 1 small glass of sherry
  • 1 sprig of thyme
  • 1 pinch of ground pepper
  • 1 piece of salt

How to make Easy Chicken Liver Pate:

1 Grate the onions, clean the chicken livers, wash and dry them to be able to proceed to prepare the homemade pâté.

2 Melt the butter in a skillet. When it is melted, lower the heat and fry the onion in it until it turns transparent.

3 Add the finely chopped chicken livers, thyme and ground pepper to taste to flavor the pate. Let simmer for a few minutes.

4 When the previous ingredients are ready, process them with the blender, food processor or electric mixer until you get a paste. Add the sherry, the peppercorns, mix again and reserve the preparation in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours.

5 Serve the chicken liver pâté with crackers or toast. It is ideal to serve as an appetizer before a stuffed loin, for example, or baked fish.
