Dumplings recipe with oatmeal

Ingredients to make Empanadillas with oatmeal:

• 1 cup whole grain oatmeal

• 100 milliliters of hot water

• 1 dessert spoon of salt (rasa)

• 1 tablespoon of butter

• Fried or boiled shredded chicken to taste

• Cream cheese or light cheese to taste

• 1 beaten egg to paint

How to make Oatmeal Dumplings:

Mix the butter and salt with the hot water until completely integrated. Add the flour and mix the oatmeal empanada dough with your hands until smooth. To avoid getting your hands dirty and contaminating the dough, put on some kitchen gloves.

Tip: If the dough for the fitness dumplings is too liquid, add a little more whole meal oatmeal.
