Dried Tomato and Basil Dip Recipe

This delicious spreadable cream is very healthy since it has few calories. Although the main ingredients are dried tomatoes and basil, we will use avocado to unify everything, which provides us with essential good fats for the body. Follow this easy recipe and you’ll have a sun-dried tomato and basil dip ready in less than 15 minutes to eat with crackers during a get-together with friends.

Ingredients to make Sundried Tomato and Basil Dip:

  • 1 unit of Avocado
  • 3 units of dried tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons basil
  • 1 tablespoon of Almonds
  • 1 lemon unit
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper

How to make Sundried Tomato and Basil Dip:

1 Before making this simple and original appetizer, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.

2 In a bowl, macerate the avocado until you obtain a smooth paste. Add the lemon juice, salt and pepper.

3 Apart, in a bowl with hot water, hydrate the dried tomatoes for 5 minutes.

4 Mix the avocado with the dried tomatoes and finely chopped basil. Mix everything very well and if necessary rectify flavor with salt and pepper.

5 Serve the dried tomato and basil dip sprinkled with finely chopped almonds. Accompany with crackers or toasted bread and if you want variety you can also make a bacon or bacon dip.
