- 500 grams of Fish
- ½ unit of Onion
- 1 unit of green pepper
- 1 unit of Tomato
- 1 liter of water
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 splash of sour orange juice
- 1 jet of olive oil
How to make dog stew:
- To prepare this recipe for caldillo de perro, we have to gather all the ingredients.
- Sauté the onion and minced garlic until golden brown.
- Trick: If you want the garlic not to repeat itself, you can remove the center area.
- Add water, tomato and pepper along with a little salt and bring to a boil for 10 minutes. Tomato and pepper are cooked whole.
- After 10 minutes, remove the tomato and pepper (we are not going to use them) and blend the soup. If you want, you can use the ingredients that we will not use to make a homemade tomato sauce.
- Heat the broth and add the sliced fish. Cook the fish for 5 minutes.
- Before serving this fish soup, sprinkle with a few drops of bitter orange. If you cannot find bitter orange, you can substitute this ingredient for lemon.
