Deviled shrimp recipe with chipotle

Ingredients to make Deviled Shrimp with Chipotle:

  • 1 kilogram of raw shrimp with head
  • 10 guajillo chiles deveined
  • 5 Chiles de árbol
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 chipotle chile
  • 1 pinch of ground pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make Camarones a la diabla with chipotle:

  1. Wash the shrimp well and let them drain for a while. To wash it is recommended that you do it in a bowl full of water, with a little salt if you want.
  2. Devein the 10 guajillo chiles and boil the 10 guajillo chiles with the 4 chiles de árbol and one dried chile, you can also buy a can of chipotle chiles in marinade.
  3. Once we put the chilies to boil, we began to chop the 4 tomatoes in the form of small squares. This will be the base of the sauce with which we will accompany the shrimp to the devil.
  4. Cut the onion in half and start chopping it. Once the onion and tomato are chopped, we put them in a hot frying pan and fry them.
  5. Once the tomato and onion are fried, grind the guajillo chile, the chile de árbol and the chipotle chile. Grind the chili, pour it into the saucepan where the tomato and onion are and bring it to a boil.
  6. While the chili is boiling with all the ingredients that we put in it, in a plate and/or deep dish we add about 4 or 6 cloves along with a pinch of salt.
  7. Once the cloves and salt are in the bowl, gradually add the shrimp and stir them to continue with the Mexican recipe.
  8. When we have added all the shrimp to the bowl with salt and cloves, stir well until they are covered in seasonings. Once this is done, fry 4 to 6 shrimp in a hot pan, depending on how big the pan is
  9. Once all the shrimp are fried, we place them in the bowl that has the chili with the onion and the tomato to continue with the elaboration of the shrimp to the devil with chipotle.
  10. You already have the very spicy deviled shrimp made, you must present them hot and with white rice on the side
