Dessert Recipe with Fresh Cheese

Ingredients to make Dessert with fresh cheese:

  1. 400 grams of fresh cheese
  2. 40 grams of Butter
  3. cupcakes
  4. 200 grams of Sugar (1 cup)
  5. 100 milliliters of milk
  6. 1 pinch of Cinnamon powder
  7. 250 milliliters of Grapefruit juice
  8. 6 sheets of Gelatin

How to make Dessert with fresh cheese:

  • Remove the butter from the refrigerator to bring it to room temperature. Meanwhile, we take the opportunity to prepare the grapefruit jelly. To do this, we hydrate the gelatin sheets in cold water for five minutes
  • Separately, we extract the grapefruit juice(I got 250 ml with a grapefruit and a half), strain it and pour it into a saucepan with half the sugar (100 g). Put the saucepan over medium heat and heat until it reaches a temperature of 60 ºC. If we can’t gauge the temperature with a thermometer, we keep an eye on the mixture to prevent it from boiling.
  • We are stirring the mixture so that the sugar dissolves and does not stick to the bottom of the saucepan. When we see that the grapefruit juice is hot and the gelatin sheets are hydrated, we remove them from the water and add them to the mixture, stirring so that they dissolve.
  • Place the mixture in a long mold, to obtain a sheet of gelatin approximately half a centimeter thick, and let it warm before placing it in the fridge.
  • While the gelatin curdles, we take a bowl, place the biscuits and crush them. We added the butter that we had reserved outside the refrigerator and mixed until obtaining a dough. Then, we divide this dough into four portions and leave them at the bottom of the four glasses that we have selected to serve the dessert with fresh cheese. We exert pressure against the bottom and put the glasses in the freezer.
  • Once the gelatin has set, we can begin to prepare the fresh cheese. To do it, we take a bowl and add the chopped cheese, the milk and the remaining sugar. We beat well so that all the ingredients are integrated correctly. We can add more or less milk and/or sugar so that the cheese dessert is to our liking.
  • Then, we take a cookie cutter with the same diameter as the glass and cut circles of grapefruit jelly. We will need about eight circles in total to make the fresh cheese dessert.
  • Remove the glasses from the freezer and add a tablespoon of the mixture of cheese, milk and sugar. We exert a little pressure and place a circle of jelly. Add another tablespoon of cheese, crush and put another circle on top. We finished the dessert with the last spoonful of cheese and sprinkled a little cinnamon on top. We repeat this process with all the glasses.
  • Ready! We serve the gelatin and fresh cheese dessert very cold.
