It is an easy recipe to make, very healthy and above all, it is delicious! So go ahead and make this delicious orange and date salad in a jiffy at any time.

Ingredients to make Dates and Orange Salad:

  • 1 kilogram of Oranges
  • 8 units of dates pitted and cut in half
  • 120 grams of Radishes cut into thin slices
  • ½ unit of red onion cut into rings
  • 60 grams of arugula
  • 50 grams of curly red lettuce
  • 15 grams of chopped parsley
  • 15 grams of chopped mint

For the dressing:

  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon of orange blossom water
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons of fennel seeds
  • 5 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice

How to make Dates and Orange Salad:

To prepare the dressing for the orange and date salad, what we will do is mix the cinnamon, the crushed garlic, the orange blossom water, the lemon juice and the fennel seeds that we will have toasted in a pan without oil and lightly crushed in the mortar. Next, add half a teaspoon of salt, a generous pinch of pepper and the olive oil. We continue beating until everything is well mixed.

With the help of a sharp knife, peel the oranges, keeping in mind that you have to remove the white skin well so that it does not bitter the date salad later, and cut them into half-centimeter slices , and remove the seeds if they have them.

Next, we place the oranges with the rest of the orange salad ingredients in a large shallow salad bowl. Finally we remove the dressing, pour it over the date and orange salad, and serve.
