Ingredients to make Cucumbers in brine:
- 2 kg. of cucumbers
- 1/2 kg. of salt
- 4 liters of water
How to make Cucumbers in brine:
- Clean the cucumbers with a damp cloth, without washing them.
- Prepare brine with water and salt.
- Cucumbers are placed in a glass container (sterilized) and covered with the COLD brine.
- They are tightened with a board or a plate with a weight on top.
- 1/2 kg is added the next day. More salt, on top of the table, so that it dissolves slowly.
- Let it rest for 1 week.
- Then add another 1/2 cup of salt and leave for 5 or more weeks, constantly foaming.
- The cucumbers are ready when the cucumbers are a uniform olive green color, with no white spots.
- It takes 6 to 8 weeks
- IMPORTANT do not forget to sterilize the bottle.
