Cucumber and Cream Cheese Salad Recipe

If you don’t know what to cook and you need a quick and easy recipe, the cucumber and cream cheese salad is a perfect option. Cucumber is a vegetable with highly beneficial diuretic properties for those with a tendency to retain fluids. If you dare to prepare it, keep reading and learn how to make this delicious fresh salad.

Ingredients to make Cucumber and Cream Cheese Salad:

  • 80 grams of Cucumber
  • 1 unit of Tomato
  • 4 green curly lettuce leaves
  • 1 lemon unit
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper

How to make Cucumber Cream Cheese Salad:

We get all the ingredients ready to prepare the cucumber salad. In a bowl, prepare the mustard vinaigrette. To do this, put the lemon juice, mustard and 2 tablespoons of oil. We also add a little salt and pepper and mix very well, set aside.

We open the tomato in quarters, to which we will remove the seeds. We will cut these quarters into sticks as shown in the photograph. The lettuce, after washing, we chop it with our hands, making sure that they are of an appropriate size to eat. We cut the cucumber into very thin slices; there is no need to remove the seeds or the skin.

Finally we will put a bed of lettuce, tomato and cucumber on top and finish with a spoonful of cream cheese. We put the vinaigrette on top of the cucumber and cream cheese salad  and voila!
