Cuban Creole Black Bean Stew Recipe
Ingredients to make Cuban Creole Black Bean Stew:
- 1 pound of black beans
- 1 liter of water
- 1 Red or Green Pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 Cloves of Garlic
- 1 White Onion
- 1/2 Pound of Pork Fat (Empellitas)
- 4 teaspoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon cumin
How to make Cuban Creole Black Bean Stew:
Soak the beans for 24 hours in a container with cold water. Drain, rinse and cook the beans. When they have cooled, blend them.
