Crusted Rice Recipe

Ingredients to make Crusted Rice:

  • 100 grams of Chorizo
  • 250 grams of chopped pork ribs
  • 150 grams of fresh sausages
  • 1 jet of Oil to fry
  • 150 grams of crushed natural tomato
  • 1 pinch of saffron threads
  • 500 milliliters of chicken or cooked broth
  • 350 grams of medium grain rice
  • 4 units of Eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make Crusted Rice:

  1. Chop the meat and heat a little oil in a clay pot.
  2. Fry the meat in it.
  3. Once golden, add the tomato.
  4. Crush the saffron with a little of the broth in a mortar.
  5. Add the broth to the casserole and the saffron, cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes and correct the seasoning.
  6. Add the rice and cook until it has absorbed the liquid. Withdraw.
  7. Beat the eggs and pour over the rice.
  8. Put the casserole in the oven at 180 °C until the eggs are set and browned. Serve the rice that has made a little crust in the same source
