Crudités with hummus recipe

Ingredients to make Crudités with hummus:

For the hummus

  • 300 grams of cooked Chickpea
  • ½ clove of Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Tahini or sesame seed paste
  • 6 units of black olives
  • 1 jet of olive oil
  • 1 splash of lemon juice
  • 1 pinch of ground cumin
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch of sweet paprika

For the crudités:

  • 1 unit of green pepper
  • 1 unit of Carrot
  • 6 units of cherry tomato
  • 2 units of Celery

How to make Crudités with Hummus:

We gather all the ingredients to prepare the crudités with hummus. For this recipe you can add other vegetables such as zucchini or broccoli. First of all, we wash all the vegetables well. To start with the crudités, we cut the pepper into sticks, taking care not to leave the internal white parts or seeds. We do the same with celery. Peel the carrot and cut it in half.  We also make sticks the size of those we have made with the pepper. Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes into quarters. For this recipe we have used 3 varieties of tomato to give it a little more color. Arrange the raw vegetables on a plate in an orderly fashion, leaving room for the central sauce: the hummus. To prepare the hummus, we have followed the recipe for Arabic hummus. You will see that it is a very simple procedure: we mix all the ingredients with the help of the blender, add a little sweet paprika and oil on top and ready to serve.
