Ingredients to make Crispy Rice:
- For 4 people:
- 250g of rice.
- 100 g of onion.
- 50 g of margarine.
- 1 liter of vegetable broth.
- Salt
- Pepper
- 50 g of almonds without skin.
- Grated cheese.
How to make Crispy Rice:
- Sauté the onion in the oil in a saucepan until barely browned, add the rice, then 1 cup of broth and cook slowly, adding more boiling broth as necessary until the grain is ready.
- Season well during cooking with salt, pepper and nutmeg. While the rice cooks, quickly brown the almonds in about 50 g of margarine.
- Once the rice is ready, we mix part of the almonds and their margarine.
- It is served spreading the rest on top and accompanied with grated cheese to taste.
