Crispy rice recipe

Ingredients to make Crispy Rice:

  • For 4 people:
  • 250g of rice.
  • 100 g of onion.
  • 50 g of margarine.
  • 1 liter of vegetable broth.
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 50 g of almonds without skin.
  • Grated cheese.

How to make Crispy Rice:

  1. Sauté the onion in the oil in a saucepan until barely browned, add the rice, then 1 cup of broth and cook slowly, adding more boiling broth as necessary until the grain is ready.
  2. Season well during cooking with salt, pepper and nutmeg. While the rice cooks, quickly brown the almonds in about 50 g of margarine.
  3. Once the rice is ready, we mix part of the almonds and their margarine.
  4. It is served spreading the rest on top and accompanied with grated cheese to taste.
