The best thing about this tempura battered cod recipe is that it is a super easy recipe to make and that you can eat it both hot and cold, which makes it ideal to take on a picnic or to the beach.
Ingredients to make Crispy Battered Cod:
- 500 grams of salted cod
- 1 bunch of Parsleys
- 100 grams of flour
- 1 teaspoon of Royal Powder
- 50 milliliters of beer
- olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves
How to make Crispy Battered Cod:
- Gather all the ingredients on the workbench. If you have bought the cod without desalination, you can do it by letting it soak for two or three days, changing the water every 12 hours.
- Cut the cod pieces as desired, although since it is a battered cod recipe, I recommend cutting into slightly rectangular cubes.
- Now we have to prepare the batter station. To do this, start by finely chopping the garlic and mixing this with half the flour, the baking powder and the beer. Use some rods to get the mixture to be perfectly homogeneous.
