Ingredients to make Cream of vegetables with milk:
- 1 kg of pumpkin, (can also be celery, sweet potato, potatoes)
- 2 or 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro or parsley
- 1 liter of milk
- 3 Tbsp. Of butter
- 1/2 liter of broth
- 1 sprig of basil leaves. About 6 to 8 sheets
How to make vegetable cream with milk:
Let’s start by peeling and crushing the garlic well.
- When you have all the garlic ready, take them to a pot and add the selected vegetable in pieces and the basil cut with your fingers.
- Proceed to incorporate the milk in the pot and also the broth.
- Cook over low heat until vegetables are soft.
- Then blend well and oses through the strainer to remove the lumps.
- Serve piping hot and garnished with finely chopped cilantro or parsley and a teaspoon of butter or margarine.
- Additionally, I like to add soft, white cheese chopped into squares.
