Cream of vegetables with milk recipe

Ingredients to make Cream of vegetables with milk:

  • 1 kg of pumpkin, (can also be celery, sweet potato, potatoes)
  • 2 or 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro or parsley
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 3 Tbsp. Of butter
  • 1/2 liter of broth
  • 1 sprig of basil leaves. About 6 to 8 sheets

How to make vegetable cream with milk:

Let’s start by peeling and crushing the garlic well.

  1. When you have all the garlic ready, take them to a pot and add the selected vegetable in pieces and the basil cut with your fingers.
  2. Proceed to incorporate the milk in the pot and also the broth.
  3. Cook over low heat until vegetables are soft.
  4. Then blend well and oses through the strainer to remove the lumps.
  5. Serve piping hot and garnished with finely chopped cilantro or parsley and a teaspoon of butter or margarine.
