Cream of spinach with celery recipe

Ingredients to make cream of spinach with celery:

  • 400g spinach
  • 2 sticks of celery
  • Half a small onion
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 4 cheese servings or 1/2 cup semi-fat cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • Salt to taste

How to make cream of spinach with celery:

  1. Cook the spinach in salted water, once it starts to boil, drain and blend the leaves with the water they boiled in and add a cup of milk.
  2. In another saucepan, melt the butter and fry the onion and celery.
  3. When they are golden, we put them in the blender together with ½ cup of chicken concentrate broth, salt, pepper, the other cup of milk and the cheese.
  4. Once they are blended, we put this preparation and the spinach preparation in a saucepan.
  5. We beat so that the ingredients are well mixed and let cook until the preparation boils.
  6. At the end, when we are going to serve, we rectify the salt.
