Ingredients to make cream of spinach with celery:
- 400g spinach
- 2 sticks of celery
- Half a small onion
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 2 cups of milk
- 4 cheese servings or 1/2 cup semi-fat cheese
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- Salt to taste
How to make cream of spinach with celery:
- Cook the spinach in salted water, once it starts to boil, drain and blend the leaves with the water they boiled in and add a cup of milk.
- In another saucepan, melt the butter and fry the onion and celery.
- When they are golden, we put them in the blender together with ½ cup of chicken concentrate broth, salt, pepper, the other cup of milk and the cheese.
- Once they are blended, we put this preparation and the spinach preparation in a saucepan.
- We beat so that the ingredients are well mixed and let cook until the preparation boils.
- At the end, when we are going to serve, we rectify the salt.
