Cream of spinach and potatoes recipe

Ingredients to make cream of spinach and potatoes:

  • 1 bundle of spinach previously cooked.
  • 4 units of potatoes.
  • 2 cups of chicken or vegetable broth.
  • 1 cup of whole milk.
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic paste.
  • Milk cream.
  • Bay leaves.

How to make cream of spinach and potatoes:

  1. To start making our spinach and potato cream, the first step is to pre-list all the ingredients.
  2. Peel and cut the potatoes into squares to make our spinach and potato cream.
  3. Take our potatoes to a pot with cold water and cook them with a little salt.
  4. Once our potatoes are soft, remove half of the water and add the spinach, milk, garlic, chicken broth and garlic paste. Let our cream boil over medium heat for about 15 minutes and turn off the heat.
  5. Remove our cream in a bowl and wait for it to cool down before it can be processed. Remove our bay leaves. Process until all the ingredients are well integrated and return to the pot.
  6. Add the milk cream and leave to keep over low heat for approximately ten minutes until the spinach and potato cream thickens a little more. Turn off the heat.
  7. Once the spinach and potato cream is ready, serve with Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top, matchstick chips and milk cream on top.
