Cream of peas and mint recipe

Ingredients to make Cream of peas and mint:

  • 250 grams of peas
  • 1 unit of purple onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 5 mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of milk cream
  • 150 milliliters of vegetable broth
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make Cream of peas and mint:

  1. Before making this healthy recipe, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready.
  2. In a pot with oil, fry the onion and garlic cut into medium cubes. Cook until the onion is soft, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Process the peas previously cooked in boiling water with the onion, garlic and vegetable broth, blend until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
  4. Add the mint leaves to the pea cream and process again for a few more minutes.
  5. Return the pea cream to the pot, add a little milk cream, salt and pepper, cook a few more minutes.
  6. Finally serve the cream of peas and mint. This recipe is perfect for children as it is very healthy and nutritious.
