Cream of mushroom and rum recipe

Ingredients to make Cream of Mushroom and Rum:

  • 500 grams of chopped mushrooms.
  • 100 grams of butter.
  • 2 units of white onion.
  • Half a cup of white rum.
  • 1 tablespoon of dried thyme.
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder.
  • 250 ml of whole milk.
  • 150 grams of wheat flour

How to make Cream of Mushroom and Rum:

  1. Prelist the ingredients.
  2. Wash and chop the big-headed onion into medium squares. Reserve.
  3. Bring a deep pot to medium heat. Add a little sunflower oil and add the white onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Leave to fry for a few minutes.
  4. Add half of the mushrooms and the wheat flour. Leave to fry for a few more minutes
  5. Add the milk and 2 cups of water. Add the dried thyme and white rum. Once the cream is boiling, let it conserve for ten more minutes over medium heat and turn off the heat.
  6. Bring a frying pan to medium heat, add the butter and add the other half of the mushrooms. Leave to fry for five minutes and turn off the heat.
  7. Serve the cream decorating each of the plates with the mushrooms that we fry and a little milk cream. Enjoy.
