Cream of Celery Recipe

Ingredients to make Cream of Celery:

  • 250 grams of Celery
  • 300 grams of Zucchini
  • 1 glass of milk
  • 1 glass of chicken broth
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 pinch of Paprika
  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
  • 1 jet of oil

How to make Cream of Celery:

  1. To make this delicious cream of celery, the first step is to cut the zucchini and celery into more or less small pieces.
  2. Next, heat a little oil and sauté the vegetables. Then cover the pan and lower the heat and continue cooking for another 5-10 minutes.
  3. Tip: You can add a little more oil if you consider it necessary.
  4. After this time, uncover the pan and add the milk along with the broth. Let cook over low heat for 30-35 minutes. If you want a vegetarian recipe you can substitute the chicken broth for vegetable broth.
  5. To finish, pass the preparation through the blender or your kitchen robot and blend until you get a cream with a smooth and homogeneous texture.
  6. Tip: Check the seasoning and add a little salt if necessary.
  7. When serving, decorate the cream of celery with a little pepper, paprika and the sprig of rosemary. This cream of celery can be enjoyed both hot and cold and you can serve it as a starter before eating a good plate of tuna belly with potatoes.
