Cream of broccoli and cauliflower recipe

 

Ingredients to make Cream of Broccoli and Cauliflower:

  • 3 oil tablespoons
  • 200 grams of leek
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 700 milliliters of water
  • 400 grams of cauliflower in bouquets (without the hard trunk)
  • 200 grams of broccoli in bouquets (same as cauliflower)
  • 1 and 1/2 tablets of concentrated broth
  • Salt

How to make Cream of Broccoli and Cauliflower:

  1. In the glass of the Thermomix we put the leek and the garlic, and we crush 8 seconds at speed 1 and 1/2.
  2. Trick: If you don’t have a Thermomix you can also prepare this cauliflower and broccoli cream by boiling the vegetables, crushing them and seasoning at the end.
  3. Add the oil and program 7 minutes at 100 ºC and speed 1.
  4. After the time we add the water and program 1 minute at maximum speed. Add the vegetables and the broth cubes and cook the cauliflower and broccoli cream for 25 minutes, aroma temperature and speed 1.
  5. At the end of the time, we see if the broccoli and cauliflower soup needs more water, and if so, we add 1 or 2 cups and grind it again to integrate it well.
  6. Season with salt and serve the broccoli and cauliflower puree very hot. As you can see, this broccoli and cauliflower cream in Thermomix is ​​very easy to make and is delicious accompanied by a boiled egg or pieces of fried bread like homemade croutons. Also with tacos of ham or remains of chicken roasted in the oven.
