Ingredients to make Cream Cheese Spread:

  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • ½ cup of milk or cream
  • 250 grams of cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch of Nutmeg

How to make Cream Cheese Spread:

We put a thick-bottomed saucepan on the fire, with the flame low, and unite the butter with the flour. Stir until slightly cooked. After a couple of minutes, add the milk to the mixture little by little, and we dissolve the flour until we get a slightly thick cream. You can use heavy cream or cooking cream if you prefer.

When you have this cream very hot, add the shredded cheese and start beating until it is integrated and dissolves in the cream. To finish, season with a pinch of salt.
