Crab fritters with prawns recipe

Ingredients to make Crab Fritters with Prawns:

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 300 grams of prawns
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 100 ml of oil
  • 1 can of crab
  • 1 tablespoon of nouc mam
  • 50 grams of cornmeal
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • 150 ml of water
  • 75 grams of bacon
  • 125 grams of flour

How to make Crab Fritters with Prawns:

  1. Drain the crab meat and remove any cartilage.
  2. Put it in a bowl with the peeled prawns, the skinless bacon and cut into small pieces.
  3. Beat until you get a fine mincemeat.
  4. Then add the sugar, the pepper and the “nouc mam”. Mix well.
  5. Put the flour, cornmeal and yeast in a large salad bowl, mix well, form a well and add the water, little by little, to obtain a thick dough.
  6. Beat the egg whites until stiff with a pinch of salt and then carefully fold them into the pasta.
  7. Add the hash to the pasta, mix well.
  8. Form balls with a large spoon or cut into triangles and introduce them into the hot oil, fry until they are very golden on the outside.
  9. Drain on absorbent paper and serve.
