Ingredients to make Crab Cake (crab):
- 6 Jaibas (crabs).
- 2 eggs.
- 100 grams of grated cheese.
- 1 Marraqueta from the day before (French bread)
- 1 onion.
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley.
- Hot pepper paste (optional).
How to make Crab Cake
- Wash and cook the crabs in boiling water. Cool and then remove the edible part.
- Soak the bread, distill the water and mix with the crab meat and 50 grams of grated cheese.
- Dice the onion and fry in a little oil together with the parsley and chili.
- Add to this the crab mixture and the previously beaten eggs.
- Season to taste and distribute the mixture over the 6 crab shells, sprinkle the grated cheese and place in a medium oven only to gratin.
- Serve hot and accompany with fresh white wine.
- Note: very good as a starter for fish dishes.
