Crab Cake Recipe

Ingredients to make Crab Cake (crab):

  • 6 Jaibas (crabs).
  • 2 eggs.
  • 100 grams of grated cheese.
  • 1 Marraqueta from the day before (French bread)
  • 1 onion.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley.
  • Hot pepper paste (optional).

How to make Crab Cake

  1. Wash and cook the crabs in boiling water. Cool and then remove the edible part.
  2. Soak the bread, distill the water and mix with the crab meat and 50 grams of grated cheese.
  3. Dice the onion and fry in a little oil together with the parsley and chili.
  4. Add to this the crab mixture and the previously beaten eggs.
  5. Season to taste and distribute the mixture over the 6 crab shells, sprinkle the grated cheese and place in a medium oven only to gratin.
  6. Serve hot and accompany with fresh white wine.
  7. Note: very good as a starter for fish dishes.
