Crab and prawn pate recipe with Thermomix

Ingredients to make crab and shrimp pate with Thermomix:

• 200 grams of peeled prawns

• 150 grams of crab meat

• 100 grams of butter

• 150 grams of liquid cream

• 1 sprig of chives

• ½ cup of fine sherry

How to make crab and prawn pate with Thermomix:

To start preparing this delicious pâté with Thermomix, the first step is to get the ingredients ready. The amount of chives can vary to taste and we will use peeled prawns.

Put the butter, chives, prawns and crab in the Thermomix glass. Program for 6 minutes at 100º temperature with speed 4.

When there are 2 minutes left in the program, add the Sherry. If you don’t have sherry you can use any other type of fine wine you have on hand.

When the Thermo mix has finished, add the cream through the mouth to the preparation and program again at speed 8.

Scoop out all the contents of the Thermomix glass with the help of a spatula and place it in glass bowls or tubs. Keep in the fridge for at least a couple of hours until the pate sets.

Then you can serve the crab and prawn pâté with Thermomix accompanied with some crackers or toasted bread. You can decorate the tubs with some green, such as parsley, coriander or chives. Remember that with your Thermomix you can also make croquettes or sponge cakes.
