We are going to prepare a delicious dish of couscous with vegetables and meat, a very simple recipe that we can make in a very short time and can save us a lunch or dinner.

We will cook a couscous with vegetables separately, using a sautéed onion and pepper while we will make some delicious Moorish skewers to accompany. You can mix it all or serve it separately as I have done. Let’s cook!

- 1 green pepper
- ½ red bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 glass of Couscous
- Moorish skewers
- 1 pinch of salt
How to make Couscous with vegetables and meat:
- As always, we ready all the ingredients. Keep in mind that our recipe for couscous with vegetables will be accompanied with meat, in this case with Moorish skewers, but if you prefer you can make grilled chicken or the type of meat that you like the most.
- To make the base sauce, heat a frying pan and sauté the onion with the peppers, previously diced, together with a touch of salt and oil.
- On the other hand, we mark the meat over high heat and lower it so that it is done inside. This in case you have decided to make skewers.
- Once the sauce is done, we proceed to prepare the couscous.
- You can follow the preparation instructions that the couscous box will bring, but in general, we take the same amount of water as couscous, boil it and add it to the couscous.
- Remove with a fork and cover to cook.
- We wait about 2-3 minutes and stir again with the fork. You can add a tablet of butter or oil instead.
- Then we pour the couscous into the same frying pan as the sauce and cook everything together.
- You can add, for example, fried tomato to give it a little more flavor and texture.
- When serving our plate of couscous with vegetables and meat we can eat it all mixed or couscous and meat separately.
