Ingredients to make Couscous Burgers:

  • 250 grams of cooked couscous
  • 2 units of red onion
  • 1 handful of bread crumbs
  • 1 pinch of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic paste
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of Pepper

How to make Couscous Burgers:

  1. To start making our couscous burgers, the first step is to prepare all the ingredients
  2. Add in a bowl the cooked couscous, 1 teaspoon of garlic paste and the purple onion cut into feathers. Process all the ingredients until they are well integrated into the preparation.
  3. Add a little breadcrumb, dried thyme, salt and pepper to taste to the mixture of the veggie burgers. Mix well.
  4. Ideally, there is a dough like the one shown in the photo so that we can make the couscous burgers. Reserve the mixture for half an hour in the fridge or refrigerator.
  5. Make balls with the hamburger mixture, crush them very carefully since the dough is delicate to be able to make the hamburger shape.
  6. In a frying pan with a little olive oil, fry the couscous burgers until golden brown on both sides.
