Ingredients to make Couscous Burgers:
- 250 grams of cooked couscous
- 2 units of red onion
- 1 handful of bread crumbs
- 1 pinch of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of garlic paste
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of Pepper
How to make Couscous Burgers:
- To start making our couscous burgers, the first step is to prepare all the ingredients
- Add in a bowl the cooked couscous, 1 teaspoon of garlic paste and the purple onion cut into feathers. Process all the ingredients until they are well integrated into the preparation.
- Add a little breadcrumb, dried thyme, salt and pepper to taste to the mixture of the veggie burgers. Mix well.
- Ideally, there is a dough like the one shown in the photo so that we can make the couscous burgers. Reserve the mixture for half an hour in the fridge or refrigerator.
- Make balls with the hamburger mixture, crush them very carefully since the dough is delicate to be able to make the hamburger shape.
- In a frying pan with a little olive oil, fry the couscous burgers until golden brown on both sides.
