Corn Cream Recipe

Ingredients to make corn cream:

  • 2 cups consommé or chicken broth
  • 1 cup of milk (240 milliliters)
  • 3 pieces of fresh corn
  • ½ piece of white onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper

How to make corn cream:

  1. Finely chop the garlic, cut the onion into quarters and shell the corn. Booking.
  2. Heat a saucepan with the olive oil and butter, sauté the onion and garlic until the first is transparent and the second is soft. Then add the shelled corn. Cook for three or four minutes.
  3. Add the milk and the consommé or chicken broth and cook the corn cream for three or four more minutes.
  4. If you prefer, you can make the recipe for chicken consommé or basic chicken broth yourself at home.
  5. Grind the corn soup mixture in the blender along with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste until you get a homogeneous cream.
  6. Place a portion of hot natural corn cream on each plate. You can decorate with homemade croutons or croutons, baked tortilla strips or cooked corn kernels.
