- 2 cups of rice
- 2 ½ cups of cold water
How to make Cooked Rice:
- Wash the rice in cold running water in a colander, cover it with water and drain it; repeat the operation several times until the water is clear.
- Pour all the heavy-bottomed rice into a saucepan and add the cold water.
- Bring to a boil, cover with a tight-fitting lid and turn the heat to low, letting it cook for 20 minutes, then turn the heat to maximum for 1 minute – Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it rest for 15 minutes, do not uncover until ready to serve .
