Ingredients to make Cooked Galician Octopus:
- 1 large or 2 small octopus
- 1 medium potato with skin
- Water
- virgin olive oil
- coarse salt
- Sweet or spicy paprika (according to taste)
How to make Cooked Galician Octopus:
- Put in a pot plenty of water with salt. When it starts to boil, scare the octopus 3 times and cook it together with the potato.
- When the potato is cooked (approximately 20 minutes) the octopus will be ready. Let stand briefly before serving.
- Remove the octopus from the water, cut it into small pieces (bite size) and serve on the typical wooden plate.
- If you don’t have it, any dish can be used. Season it with coarse salt and paprika; and drizzle with virgin olive oil.
