Condensed milk and chocolate cake recipe

Ingredients to make condensed milk and chocolate cake:

  • For the base:
  • 225 grams of cookies
  • 100 grams of butter
  • For the filling:
  • 400 grams of condensed milk
  • 50 grams of cocoa powder
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 3 egg yolks

How to make condensed milk and chocolate cake:

  1. Prepare the base of the condensed milk and chocolate cake.
  2. To do this, crush the cookies in a food processor or put them in a bag and roll over them until they are crumbs.
  3. Melt the 100 g of butter in the microwave and mix it with the crushed biscuits.
  4. Trick: Use the cookies that you like the most, Maria type, oatmeal, with chocolate chips, etc.
  5. Grease a preferably removable mold of about 20 cm in diameter with melted butter or with a release spray.
  6. Line the entire base of the mold with the cookie dough and butter. If the mold has low walls, tartlet type, also line the walls.
  7. Bake the base for 10 minutes in the preheated oven at 180ºC with heat above and below. Remove it from the oven to proceed with the filling.
  8. Place the condensed milk, cocoa and chopped butter in a saucepan and heat over low heat.
  9. Go stirring with a few rods until the butter is melted and a homogeneous cream remains.
  10. Remove the condensed milk and cocoa cream from the heat and add the egg yolk some by one while mixing them with some rods.
  11. You can save the leftover egg whites for another recipe or make a simple Swiss meringue to decorate this condensed milk and chocolate cake.
  12. Pour the cream on top of the biscuit base and bake the biscuit cake with condensed milk and chocolate with heat up and down for 20 minutes at 180 ºC.
  13. Let it cool for a few minutes and carefully unmold it. Finish cooling on a wire rack.
  14. Serve the chocolate cake and condensed milk cut into small portions. It will last several days stored in the refrigerator.
