Colored Whipped Cream Recipe

Chantilly cream is made from cream or milk cream, icing sugar and some essence such as vanilla. In this article we wanted to give it a different touch and we have prepared a colored chantilly cream to accompany or fill any type of dessert, such as queen arm with chantilly cream.

Ingredients to make colored Chantilly cream:

  1. 200 milliliters of Cream or milk cream
  2. 2 tablespoons of icing sugar
  3. 1 dessert spoon of vanilla essence
  4. 1 pinch of red food coloring
  5. 1 pinch of yellow food coloring
  6. 1 pinch of green food coloring

How to make colored whipped cream:

  • We gather all the ingredients to make the colored whipped cream. A trick so that the homemade chantilly cream does not cut is to prepare it with the very cold cream and the containers are also cold. We have put ice and water in a bowl, and we have placed another bowl on top. In that bowl above is where we have made the chantilly cream. In this way, the cream remains cold throughout the preparation.
  • We begin by beating the cream in a cold container with the help of some electric rods. Beat for 5 minutes until the cream begins to thicken.
  • If you do not have electric rods you can do it with manual rods but it will take around 12 minutes.
  • When the cream is half whipped and without stopping beating, add the icing sugar and the essence of vanilla. We beat the chantilly cream for another 2 minutes.

Trick: Watch out! Once the cream has formed, it is not necessary to beat any more. Overbeating can cause the cream to cut.

  • Once the chantilly cream is made, we separate the cream into 3 different bowls to add the color. We proceed to add the dyes. Season the chantilly cream with a few drops of red food coloring and stir with a spoon making enveloping circular movements.
  • We do the same with the green coloring and also add a few drops of yellow coloring to the chantilly cream. Mix well with the spoon or with the rods.
  • This colorful Chantilly cream can be used to accompany some fruit skewers or to fill a strawberry and Chantilly cream cake. We hope you like it!
