Colombian Sweat Recipe
Chicken sweat is a typical dish of Colombian cuisine and consists of a simple stew of vegetables and meat, whether fish, beef or chicken, and is usually accompanied with rice and avocado.
Ingredients to make Colombian Sweat:
- 1 unit of Tomato
- 1 unit of Onion
- 2 units of Potatoes
- 1 unit of Cassava
- 2 units of Carrots
- 2 units of chicken thighs
- 1 jet of oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of food coloring
How to make Colombian sweat:
To prepare the Colombian beef sweat, the first thing to do is fry the tomato and onion, all finely chopped and peeled.
When the onion turns transparent, add the chicken thighs and leave it on the heat for five minutes. Then add water to cover and salt to taste.
When it starts to boil, add the dye and the chopped yucca, let it boil for a few minutes and add the potatoes and carrots, peeled and chopped to taste but evenly.
Let the Colombian sweat simmer over low heat until the potatoes, yucca and carrots are soft and well cooked.
Colombian sweaty chicken is served hot and accompanied by slices of plantain or rice with coconut. It can also be prepared with beef or pork.
