  • 1 piece of chicken breast
  • 2 cups of mayonnaise
  • 1 can of medium cream or heavy cream
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of mustard
  • 1 cup of chopped zucchini
  • 1 onion

How to make Colombian Russian Salad:

Cut the potatoes into small cubes and cook as usual. Do the same with the carrot.

Tip: You can cook both ingredients in the same pot.

Apart, cut the chicken breast into strips and cook it. Also boil the peas, although if you prefer you can add them to the pot where you have the potatoes and carrots.

Now that you have all the ingredients cooked, shred the chicken breast and mix it with the potatoes, carrot and peas. Likewise, add the chopped zucchini to the Colombian Russian salad.

In a separate container, mix the mayonnaise with the media cream or heavy cream, salt to taste, pepper, mustard and the grated onion. To make an authentic Colombian Russian salad, add this mixture to the previous ingredients and stir everything well.

Now that you have your salad made, transfer it to a refractory, garnish it with chopped parsley or coriander and store it in the refrigerator. The Colombian Russian salad is served cold, so wait until it is refrigerated to eat it.
