Ingredients to make cold mackerel:
- 4 medium mackerels
- 1 chopped onion with cloves
- laurel
- thyme
- oregano
- Salt
- 1/4 of a liter of mayonnaise
- 1 pepper
- parsley
- a little tomato sauce
How to make cold Mackerels:
- In a saucepan, put water, onion, herbs and salt. Clean the mackerels and when the water boils, add them to the saucepan and leave them until they are cooked (about 8-10 minutes), remove them from the heat and while they are still hot, remove the bones and skin, remove two fillets from each one.
- Spread the fillets with mayonnaise and put them in the fridge for about 4 hours. Serve them with mayonnaise and decorate with pepper, tomato sauce and parsley.
