Ingredients to make coffee panna cotta:

  • 3 sheets of gelatin
  • 500 milliliters of whipping cream (milk cream)
  • 75 grams of sugar
  • 1 cup of strong coffee

How to make coffee panna cotta:

  1. To start preparing the coffee panna cotta, soak the gelatin sheets in cold water.
  2. If you prefer, you can make the coffee panna cotta with curd instead of gelatin.
  3. In this case, you will have to dissolve it in a little milk and then add it to the hot mixture.
  4. Tip: you can replace the gelatin with agar-agar if you want your coffee panna cotta to be suitable for vegetarians.
  5. In a pot, put the whipping cream with the sugar, stir and bring to a boil.
  6. Fill a cup with strong coffee and add it to the pot, lower the heat and continue cooking for 2 more minutes while stirring.
  7. Remove the coffee panna cotta from the heat, drain the gelatin sheets and add them to integrate well. If you can, mix with some rods so that the gelatin integrates better.
  8. Trick: with three sheets of gelatin it will be very rich and creamy, but if you want it to unmold easily, you will have to add one more sheet of gelatin, although it will lose creaminess.
  9. Distribute the coffee panna cotta in flan era-type molds and let cool. Once cold, let them set in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
  10. Serve your delicious coffee panna cotta accompanied by some chocolate coffee beans or with a little grated chocolate.
