This vegan brownie is prepared by simply mixing a few ingredients and the result is spectacular. The coffee gives this brownie a very original flavor but if you want the little ones to try it, you can use decaffeinated coffee.

Ingredients to make Coffee and Walnut Brownie:
- 1 cup of Hazelnuts
- 1 cup of Walnuts
- 1 cup of dates
- ½ cup of Cocoa powder (52½ grams)
- 100 milliliters of Coffee
- 1 pinch of salt
How to make Coffee Walnut Brownie:
- We gather all the ingredients to prepare the coffee and walnut brownie.
- Chop the walnuts and hazelnuts with the help of a food processor until a fine powder remains, as if it were flour.
- Add the cocoa powder and salt, and continue chopping. Once it is well mixed, transfer the mixture to a bowl and continue with the vegan brownies recipe.
- On the other hand, we chop the dates, leaving them in not too small pieces. Remember to remove the central bone.
- To continue with the coffee and walnut brownie, mix the dates with the mixture of nuts and cocoa and chop again. Once they are well integrated, we add the coffee. If the mixture is too thick, you can add more coffee. And if it’s too runny, you can add more walnuts and chopped hazelnuts.
- Spread the coffee brownie dough in a straight container and smooth the surface. Once we have the flat surface, we add a few chopped walnuts and press. We put the vegan brownie in the fridge for half an hour to be able to cut it better.
