Cod Papillote with vegetables recipe

Cod is a white fish with high levels of protein and minerals. The recipe for cod papillote with vegetables that we show you combines the delicious meat of cod with baked vegetables. Ingredients to make Cod Papillote with vegetables:

  • 500 grams of Cod
  • 1 piece of red onion
  • 1 piece of yellow pepper
  • 1 unit of cherry tomato
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 splash of olive oil
  • 1 branch of fresh Basil

How to make Cod Papillote with vegetables:

  1. We gather all the ingredients to make the cod papillote with vegetables.
  2. On a layer of aluminum foil we arrange the vegetables cut into slices and season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, we preheat the oven to 180 ºC.
  3. Place the cod fillets on the vegetables and add the basil, pepper and a drizzle of oil. It is not necessary to add salt as this fish is usually salty.
  4. Cover the papillote with another layer of aluminum foil on top and close all the edges. We put in the oven at 180ºC for 15-20 minutes .
  5. Tip: If the cod comes in thick pieces, let it cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. We open the cod with vegetables papillote carefully so as not to burn ourselves with the steam.
