How to make Cod in pepper sauce:
- To start making our cod in pepper sauce recipe, the first step is to prepare all the ingredients.
- Place a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil. Add the vegetables (peppers, tomato, onion and garlic), previously washed, to the pan and let them brown a little.
- Cut the salted cod into small pieces and reserve for our recipe.
- Fry the cod in a little oil for a maximum of 4 to 5 minutes as the fish cooks very quickly.
- Once the vegetables have roasted, remove and add to a bowl to process and make the pepper sauce. If you want to give the sauce a bit of consistency, you can add a tablespoon of olive oil when grinding, this will thicken it a bit.
- Take the cod squares to a bowl or container where you are going to serve them.
- Add the pepper sauce on top and decorate with some finely chopped parsley. If you want to make cod in pepper sauce as a main dish, all you have to do is increase the portions, using one fillet per person will be enough.
