Taking into account that we are going to make preparations with coconut, let’s remember that this ingredient has many health benefits, it contains vitamin C, B1 and B2, potassium, phosphorus, calcium and iron. Ingredients to make Coconut Pastry Cream:
- 3 eggs
- 500 milliliters of whole milk
- 30 grams of grated coconut
- 100 grams of Sugar (½ cup)
- 2 teaspoons of cornstarch or cornstarch
How to make Coconut Pastry Cream:
- Before starting to make the pastry cream recipe, you must prepare the ingredients.
- In a deep bowl add the egg yolks, sugar and cornstarch. You can keep the egg whites in the fridge to prepare other recipes.
- In a deep pot add the milk and the grated coconut, bring it over medium heat until it is about to boil. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
