Ingredients to make Coconut Mojito:
- 1 bunch of fresh mint
- 2 ounces of white rum
- 1 ounce coconut milk
- 1 unit of Soda
- 1 unit of Lemon
- 2 teaspoons of brown sugar
- 10 drops of grated coconut
How to make Coconut Mojito:
- The first step to make the coconut mojito recipe is to prepare the ingredients.
- With the help of a wooden mortar we can make our coconut mojito at home. So try to include this utensil on the work table.
- In the mortar, add the mint leaves along with the sugar and lemon juice. Macerate these ingredients until they are mixed and the result is a paste. Try to handle the mint leaves with care, since if they are crushed too much they can give a bitter taste to the drink.
- In each of the glasses where we are going to serve our cocktail, add the white rum and soda. If you wish, add a few lemon hulls to taste as shown in the photograph.
- Next, add the coconut milk and the rest of the ingredients that we have in the mortar.
- Serve our coconut mojito adding a few mint leaves to decorate and grated coconut on top, ideally to be consumed cold and with plenty of ice.
