Coconut Crusted Fish Fillet Recipe

  • 3 fish fillets
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 teaspoon of Chicken Concentrate
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 unit of Egg
  • 1 cup of grated coconut (100 grams)

How to make Coconut Crusted Fish Fillet:

  1. All the ingredients are put together to start preparing the fish recipe.
  2. Trick: You can use tilapia fish fillet, red snapper, catfish, dogfish, etc.
  3. We wash our hands well before proceeding to prepare the fillets. Then, the fillets are rinsed, dried with an absorbent paper, seasoned and reserved. On the other hand, the oats are ground in a blender and poured onto a plate. In another plate, beat the egg and grated coconut; place it in another separate plate.
  4. Now that we have the three plates with the ingredients for the batter, we have the following way: we submerge the fish fillets in the egg.
  5. Then, we pass the fish through the ground oats, to which the chicken concentrate is added to enhance the flavor.
  6. The fish fillet is returned to the egg, and from there it is passed to the grated coconut. In this way, we will obtain a crispy and very tasty fish.
  7. Fry the coconut-coated fish in very hot oil, until golden on both sides. Once golden, it is removed and drained on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  8. We serve the fish fillet with a coconut crust accompanied by a vegetable garnish, tomato salad, or any other accompaniment of our preference, and a glass of beer.
