Ingredients to make cloud ice cream with sobaos cream:
- 520 milliliters of whole milk
- 220 milliliters of Cream 35% MG
- 150 grams of Clouds or Marshmallows
- 80 grams of Sobaos
How to make cloud ice cream with sobaos cream:
- To make the homemade ice cream, in a saucepan we heat 400 milliliters of milk with 100 milliliters of cream. When it starts to boil, add the chopped clouds, lower the heat and stir until the clouds have dissolved.
- Sugar clouds are also known as marshmallows or marshmallows by their English name.
Trick: If you want a colored ice cream you can use blue clouds or any other color you like
- Put the mixture in the fridge to chill. Once cold, we put the mixture in the fridge and let the ice cream be made.
- If we don’t have the fridge, we put the mixture in an airtight container and reserve in the freezer. After 45 minutes we take it out and stir with some rods. We put it back in the freezer and repeat this process 3 more times.
- While the ice cream cools, we prepare the sobaos cream. To do this, heat the rest of the cream and milk in a saucepan and add the chopped sobaos. We remove with the rods and finish with the mixer we beat it until we obtain a smooth cream without lumps.
- The sobaos are a type of sweet, milk bread, typical of Spain. If you don’t have them, you can substitute them for any cookie or sweet bread you have at home.
