Clams with cava recipe

Ingredients to make Clams with Cava:

  • 1 kilo of clams
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cayenne chilies
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 sprig of parsley
  • 1 glass of cava
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make clams with cava:

  1. Put the clams in cold water and salt for 1 hour so that they expel all the sand.
  2. Wash them and reserve them.
  3. Chop the onion very small and put it to fry in the pan with a little oil.
  4. In a mortar, crush the garlic with the chilies and the parsley and add it to the onion when it is poached.
  5. Add the cava, a little salt and the clams.
  6. When open, remove from heat and serve hot.
