Ingredients to make Clams in almond sauce:
- clams 1kg
- 200 gr chopped onion
- Tomato 500 grams natural
- Garlic
- Parsley
- Salt
- Sugar
- roasted almonds
- Dry white wine
- Olive oil
- Black pepper
How to make Clams in Almond Sauce:
- Put the clams in a container with water and salt.
- Put a clay pot on the fire with a little oil and fry the onion with the tomato, adding a little salt and sugar.
- Prepare a picada with the garlic, parsley and toasted almonds, adding it to the sauce, together with the wine and a little pepper.
- Drain the clams and put them in the casserole, letting them cook for 10 minutes.
- If you want the amount of sauce to be greater, add a little water.
