Clams in almond sauce recipe

Ingredients to make Clams in almond sauce:

  • clams 1kg
  • 200 gr chopped onion
  • Tomato 500 grams natural
  • Garlic
  • Parsley
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • roasted almonds
  • Dry white wine
  • Olive oil
  • Black pepper

How to make Clams in Almond Sauce:

  1. Put the clams in a container with water and salt.
  2. Put a clay pot on the fire with a little oil and fry the onion with the tomato, adding a little salt and sugar.
  3. Prepare a picada with the garlic, parsley and toasted almonds, adding it to the sauce, together with the wine and a little pepper.
  4. Drain the clams and put them in the casserole, letting them cook for 10 minutes.
  5. If you want the amount of sauce to be greater, add a little water.
