Clams a la marinera recipe

Clams a la marinera are a classic and great starter or appetizer. It is an easy to prepare Galician recipe in which the most important element to take care of is the sauce and the clams. These must be very fresh and the grit they carry must be cleaned very well.

Ingredients to make Seafood Clams:

  • 500 grams of clams
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1 tablespoon of flour
  • 3 tablespoons of fried tomato
  • 1 dessert spoon of sweet or hot paprika
  • 1 small glass of white wine
  • 1 handful of chopped parsley
  • 1 splash of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make Seafood Clams:

  1. To prepare some incredible seafood-style clams, first leave the clams in a bowl with waterand plenty of salt for about 30 or 40 minutes.
  2. Once this time has elapsed, drain them and wash them well.
  3. Discard any that are broken.
  4. Place a casserole to heat with a small glass of water, add the clams, cover them and stirso that all the clams open.
  5. When they are ready, turn off and reserve.
  6. On the other hand, chop the onioninto very small pieces, along with the garlic.
