Chocolates recipe decorated for Halloween

Halloween is always a great time to play in the kitchen, you can let your imagination run wild and reinvent recipes in a scary way. This is the case of the pumpkin and cheese sweet that we show below. Generally, we make it with crushed biscuits and white chocolate coating, however, to adapt it to this festivity we have decided to dye the chocolate green and place an edible eye in the center, in this way we achieve a monstrous but delicious sweet!

Ingredients to make Chocolates decorated for Halloween:

  • 3½ tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1½ tablespoons icing sugar (powdered)
  • 1½ cups white chocolate with green food coloring
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup of crushed sweet cookies
  • ¼ dessert spoon ground cinnamon
  • 27 sugar eyes

How to make Chocolates decorated for Halloween:

  1. Mix the pumpkin puree with the cream cheese, icing sugar and ground cinnamon.

  3. Add the crushed cookie and mix well until all the ingredients are integrated.
  4. You can use any type of sweet cookie, you can even make your own shortbread cookies to make these Halloween chocolates.
  5. Melt 2 tablespoons of white chocolate, add a few drops of green food coloring and mix with the pumpkin mass.
  6. Take the mixture to the freezer for 30 minutes.
  7. Trick: Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave at maximum intervals of 30 seconds.
  8. Line a tray with baking paper. Form balls of the same size with the dough and insert a toothpick into each of them to be able to bathe them later and leave the tray in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

  10. Melt the remaining chocolate in the microwave in 30 minute intervals and add green food coloring. Then, dip the balls in the chocolate and place them back on the tray.
