We love chocolate in all its forms, colors and degrees of purity. That’s why we spend so much time experimenting with new recipes with chocolate. On this occasion, the paths have led us to collect puffed rice to work on our next recipe: chocolate rocks and cereals. To give them a Christmas touch we have presented them as rock chocolates. And it is that its appearance is very similar to a rock, but inside it has the right combination between the crunch of the puffed rice and the flavor of the dark chocolate that we have used.

Ingredients to make Chocolate Rocks and Puffed Rice:

  1. 4 tablespoons of Cocoa powder 72% purity
  2. 300 milliliters of Milk (1¼ cups)
  3. 50 milliliters of Cream or milk cream
  4. 1 cup of Sugar (200 grams)
  5. 1 cup of liquid caramel
  6. 400 grams of puffed rice

How to make Chocolate Rocks and Puffed Rice:

  • Before starting with the recipe for the rock chocolates, we first list the ingredients.
  • We make the milk chocolate over low heat for 10 minutes. Do not stop stirring at any time so that it does not stick to you. We let it rest for another 5 minutes before continuing with the next steps.
  • First add the cream. We remove and integrate. We continue with the sugarand when it is completely integrated we add the caramel. All this while stirring gently.
