Chocolate Pretzel Recipe

Ingredients to make Pretzel with chocolate:

  • 300 grams of wheat flour
  • 80 grams of sugar
  • 6 tablespoons of milk
  • 6 tablespoons of oil
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese or curd
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder or baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 grams of chocolate for desserts

How to make Chocolate Pretzel:

  1. Start by mixing the milk, oil, and cream cheese in a bowl to start the homemade pretzels recipe.
  2. Add the sifted flour with the sugar, baking powder and salt, and mix very well until you obtain a homogeneous, thick and easy to shape dough.
  3. Tip: If the dough for the chocolate pretzels is sticky, add a little more flour, or if, on the contrary, it is very compact, add more milk.
  4. Divide the dough into 20 equal-sized balls and, on a lightly floured surface, roll them out with your fingers until they are elongated and about 40cm in length.
  5. Then roll the ends of the chocolate pretzel dough one or two times, as in the photo.
  6. Bring the ends down and glue them to the dough as shown. Repeat this step until all the homemade pretzels are formed.
  7. Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake them at 180ºC for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until golden
  8. Meanwhile, cut the chocolate into pieces and melt it in the microwave or in a water bath. After baking them, bathe the pretzels with the melted chocolate to your liking. And then put them on a rack so that the melted chocolate dries.
  9. Trick:You can submerge them halfway or whole or simply paint them by dropping a thread with a soup spoon as I have done.
  10. Reserve the chocolate pretzelsfor 30 minutes to 1 hour so that the chocolate sets well. Then you can eat them and you will be unable to stop until you finish them all, you’ll see.
