Chocolate grouper recipe

Ingredients to make Chocolate Grouper:

  • 1250 gr. sliced ​​grouper
  • 1 kg of ripe tomatoes
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 ounce of grated dark chocolate or the equivalent of 30 gr. powdered chocolate
  • a glass of brandy
  • oil
  • flower
  • sugar
  • bread
  • salted

How to make Chocolate Grouper:

  1. 1º Season the grouper slices with salt and pepper and flour.
  2. Fry them leaving them little done inside.
  3. Then, transfer them to a low clay pot and reserve them.
  4. 2º Strain the oil well where the grouper has been fried and sauté the onion cut into very thin slices over low heat.
  5. When the onion is well browned, add the tomato, peeled and also cut into thin slices.
  6. Let it cook in the pan over low heat with a glass of water, salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar and brandy for half an hour.
  7. 3º Pour the sauce over the grouper slices, sprinkle the chocolate on top and boil it for 5 minutes.
  8. 4º Serve it immediately.
  9. Take it out to the table in the same clay pot, garnishing it with some croutons of fried bread.
